Reza Simon Jacob, MD | San Diego Dermatologist

Reza Simon Jacob, MD is dermatologist and medical consultant in San Diego. His interests in dermatology include acne, contact dermatitis, chemical peels, treatment of skin cancers and pre-cancerous growths of the skin, and photodynamic therapy. Dr. Jacob also has expertise in information technologies as applied to medical education and in clinical trials. Dr. Jacob is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Scripps Clinic.

Dr. Jacob attended Stanford University for both undergraduate and graduate studies in Biological Sciences; he attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego and completed dermatology residency at Boston University. Dr. Jacob sees patients at Scripps Clinic at the Liberty Station office.

Originally from sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Jacob enjoys warm weather. Outside the office, Dr. Jacob spends time with his wife Adeline and their daughter. Dr. Jacob created and produces the Away With Acne podcast and website, and co-created the integrated skin exam.
